OpenAxis is part of the Techstars Anywhere Accelerator 2021 class

We’re on a mission to democratize access to data by making it simple to visualize it, share it, and collaborate on it.

Together with Techstars we will continue to build a platform that writers can use to easily tell stories with data. Anywhere, including here, on their own Substack newsletters. As we develop a community of data explorers and storytellers, we’ll promote data transparency and data literacy across society.

To kick off 2021 with Techstars, we thought we’d share a graph on how the program's investment activity has grown over the years.

As we develop our beta, soon anyone - regardless of technical ability - will be able to create a graph like the one above in seconds, customized to their liking. They’ll be able to upload or find the dataset, share it, and even collaborate on graphs others made on it too (kinda like crowdsourcing insights). All in one place. The graph will be linked directly to the underlying dataset so you can dig into it, edit it, or create your own version. We call this integrated platform the trident 🔱, and you're all about to wield it. 

But most of all, we’ll set a standard for trusted data that readers will come to expect, if not demand from publishers.
